Okay so if you've had your bin going for a while you may be woundering when should i harvest the VC[VermiCompost]Well here is the answer:
You can do either one of two things:
-Wait for three months and harvest
-Or you can just keep on composting till you can't fit anything in.
The first and the second do require a few steps.First you have to have enough VC to worry about harvesting.And of course you do need to let your system Mellow out for a few weeks usually 2-3 or more.Why???Well if i was to harvest VC when there is still food scraps it makes it very challenging to get the worms out of the VC and then you'd have to remove all the food scraps.It's just more easier to do it the wait way.LOL no pun intended it just came out.Hopefully this helps out a few people.
